Cedar box in the shape of a fish with a drawer.

"I had a large cherry tree in my yard that blew over in a storm years ago. I knew that someday I would like to use that wood. When I retired that day came and I taught myself some new woodworking skills. I create hand carved wooden utensils, band saw boxes, vases, pin and disk sets and more. Each creation is unique to the wood I choose to use. I like knots, spaulting and the wormholes you find in some wood and each time I cut into another piece of wood, I’m amazed at the beauty of nature."
